1. About Inkspire
Inkspire is an educational writing platform operated by Le Learning Pty Ltd (ACN 604 730 038), Victoria, Australia. These Terms apply to the Inkspire website, accounts, services and any future Inkspire mobile application that links to them.
2. Parent-managed student accounts
Inkspire is currently designed for students in Years 1–9. A parent or guardian must create or authorise the student's account and is responsible for accurate account information, account security and appropriate supervision of the child's use.
3. Educational purpose
Inkspire provides writing practice, AI-assisted feedback, progress information and learning tools. We do not guarantee any particular NAPLAN, ICAS, selective-school, classroom, examination, admission or academic result. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Inkspire is not affiliated with or endorsed by ACARA, ICAS, selective-school authorities or government education departments.
4. AI-generated feedback
AI-generated feedback, scores, corrections, suggestions and examples may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. They are learning aids and should not be treated as official assessment results or a substitute for appropriate teacher or professional judgment.
5. Student writing
Students retain their rights in original writing they submit to Inkspire. By submitting writing, the parent or guardian permits Le Learning Pty Ltd and its service providers to host, process and display that material as reasonably necessary to provide Inkspire's educational, account, support and security features. Le Learning Pty Ltd does not use children's submitted essays to train Inkspire's own general-purpose AI model.
6. Plans and pricing
Inkspire may offer monthly and annual subscriptions. Current prices, inclusions and billing frequency will be displayed before purchase. We may change plans or pricing from time to time and will provide notice where required before a change affects an existing recurring subscription.
7. Seven-day free trial
Eligible new subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial. Before the trial begins, checkout will disclose the selected plan, billing frequency, price after the trial and automatic continuation unless cancelled. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the paid subscription will begin and the provided payment method may be charged.
8. Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable billing interval until cancelled. By starting a recurring subscription, the account holder authorises the payment provider to charge the displayed subscription price and applicable taxes at renewal, subject to applicable law.
9. Cancellation
A parent or guardian may cancel a subscription at any time using available billing controls or by contacting us where necessary. Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, paid access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for.
10. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
We do not generally provide refunds merely because a customer changes their mind or does not use the remaining portion of a subscription. However, this does not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where the law entitles you to a remedy, those rights apply.
11. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. Payment processing may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices. You must provide valid payment information and have authority to use the selected payment method.
12. Parent access and privacy
Parent-facing features may allow a parent or guardian to view the child's essays, feedback, scores, progress and reward information. Personal information is handled as described in the Inkspire Privacy Policy.
13. Reward cards and virtual items
Digital reward cards, achievements, badges and similar virtual items are educational engagement features. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, are not financial products and cannot be sold or transferred outside Inkspire. We may reasonably adjust reward mechanics, rarity, artwork or availability as the service develops.
14. Academic integrity
Inkspire is designed to teach writing, not facilitate cheating. Students must follow school, teacher and assessment-body rules regarding AI and assisted writing. Users must not knowingly use Inkspire to misrepresent AI-generated work as their own where doing so breaches applicable assessment rules.
15. Acceptable use
Users must not attempt unauthorised access; interfere with security or operation; distribute malicious code; use Inkspire for fraud or unlawful activity; impersonate another person; scrape or systematically copy substantial parts of Inkspire's question banks or proprietary content without permission; or share paid account access to circumvent subscription limits.
16. Intellectual property
Except for student-generated content and third-party material, Inkspire's original software, branding, designs, educational materials, prompts, question banks, reward artwork and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to Le Learning Pty Ltd. The service is for permitted personal educational use and may not be commercially reproduced or distributed without permission except where allowed by law.
17. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security events or other circumstances may affect access. Inkspire is evolving and we may add, change or discontinue features. Where a material change affects a paid service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it where appropriate or required.
18. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, fraud, security risks, unlawful activity or conduct that materially harms other users or the service. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.
19. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. To the extent permitted by law, Le Learning Pty Ltd is not responsible for loss caused solely by misuse of Inkspire contrary to these Terms or matters outside our reasonable control.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Inkspire develops or legal requirements change. The current version will be published here. We will provide notice where required if a change materially affects an existing paid subscription or user rights.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights or laws that apply to the user.
